Now we know it feels like summer is drawing to a close and that recently here on the blog we’ve been showcasing some great garments that are set to see you through the colder months from our Autumn / Winter collections. However, along with the cosy beanies and weather-proof outerwear our recent Fall 2015 drops have seen some great new T-shirts in stock too.
There are some smart classic styles to be found from the likes of Brixton and The Hundreds, but if you’re after something a little more out-there you need look no further than Rebel 8 T-shirts.
Since the brand was founded in 2003 eye catching graphic tees have been at the heart of the Rebel8 label – co-founders Josh and Mike actually began their business by selling a small line of original Rebel8 T-shirts out of a messenger bag. Now internationally recognisable, the San Francisco streetwear company has deep roots in skateboard, graffiti, and tattoo cultures and is committed to staying true to these communities. A fact which is clear to see in their Fall 2015 T-shirt collection, which features a number of colourful, striking designs which wouldn’t look out of place as pieces of street art or as tattoos.
Co-founder Mike Giant hand-illustrates each graphic, with his art being reproduced faithfully on each tee. With this latest line of Rebel8 T-shirts he has taken inspiration from from the history of New Mexico.
The screen printed image of the Pioneers Tee (above) with its vibrant teal colour is a real statement shirt. The Sangre Peak Tee also features a skull motif within Giant’s illustration of the New Mexico mountain range – we stock this design in white with contrasting black 3/4 sleeves. Other favourites include the Spread The Eight Hops Tee in burgundy (below) and the Bolted Tee (top image) in black with the Rebel8 logo in a vivid blue.
